Welcome to the Old Tottonians RFC
The Old Tottonians Rugby Football Club was founded in 1931 as a branch of the Tottenham County Grammar School Old Students Association.
Although retaining it's original name, with the passing of the School, the Club has since the mid-seventies operated as an 'open' club and extends a warm welcome to players from all areas and walks of life.
The Old Tottonians Rugby Football Club, or "The Old Tott's", as they are universally known, have just celebrated the 78th year of our formation. We will also celebrate our seventeenth year in the new premises at Churchfields, which was built by the members of The Old Tott's.
We were formed by the "old boys" of Tottenham County School and led by the School sports master J. 'Jonno' Johnson, a Saracens 1st XV player who introduced rugby to the School in 1927, and trained by the (later to be) celebrated W.W. Wakefield
The Old Tott's have established themselves as a successful, sociable and progressive junior club in the North London area. This year we will be playing in the Hertfordshire / Middlesex 3 North League.
The coach, Richard Clack and 1st XV skipper, Ross Nelson will ensure that every effort will be made to progress The Old Tott's even further.
The Club also, and rather unusually, maintains a strong bond with a high percentage of former and retired players. We issue a tri-annually newsletter, (Tott's Talk), which is currently sent to some 150 individuals all over the World. Contact us if you wish to be added.
